The Emmet County Early Voting Precinct Canvass will take place on Tuesday February 27, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. In the Board of Commissioners Room 200 Division St. Petoskey, MI 49770

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Review will meet at the Township Hall at 11:00 a.m., March 5, 2024, to review the 2024 tax assessment roll as prepared by the assessor. The Board of Review meetings for public inspection of the 2023 tax assessment roll will be held at the Township Hall, Monday, March 11, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Wednesday, March 13, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Property owners are encouraged to attend the Board of Review meetings to review their 2024 assessments. Owners and resident taxpayers may protest by letter to the Board. Letters must be mailed to 874 E VFW Rd, Cheboygan MI 49721 and received on or before March 11, 2023. Contact your Assessor. If you have questions or concerns about your assessment, please contact your assessor. He may be able to address your questions and concerns without you having to appeal to the March Board of Review. Protest in Writing.
Taxpayers are encouraged to submit their protest to the Board of Review in writing to the mailing address provided in the March Board of Review Appeal section of the enclosed Notice of Assessment. The inflation rate multiplier for 2024 is 1.05%.
